Carly Henderson is a TV host, video producer and series creator, currently hosting The Jam, a morning talk and entertainment TV show, based in Chicago. You can see her giving her quirky opinion on the latest entertainment news, chatting with celebrities on the red carpet, and testing out the latest pop culture crazes. She also maintains active social media accounts (and was once the #1 trending Twitter topic in Brazil!), where she shares her experiences, documents her behind-the-scenes adventures, and connects with fans on a daily basis.

Carly got her start as a host on mtvU (MTV's college network), where she traveled the country reporting from events like Bonnaroo Music Festival and South by Southwest. Carly scored her dream job of becoming a MTV VJ after sending in an audition video while living in Seoul, South Korea, and has since hosted MTV Spring Break, surprised students with awards and opportunities on campuses across America, and caught up with Vice President Joe Biden from his home in Washington DC.

She's also a red carpet correspondent, covering events like the MTV VMAs, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and more, where she is known for asking fun questions to Hollywood's biggest stars like Jessica Alba, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning.

She was nominated for an Emmy for her work with the Half of Us Campaign, which helps young people struggling with mental health issues. Carly is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, with a degree in Broadcast News.

Her natural curiosity, enthusiasm, and warmth help viewers experience the excitement she gets to be a part of firsthand, all while giving audiences the sense that Carly could be their new BFF. In her spare time, this Colorado native loves going to concerts, playing with her adorable dog Waffles, and hunting for the strongest cup of coffee she can find.
