I'm Hosting LiveXLive's Music Lives 2021 Festival!

March 25, 2021 Carly Henderson

They even made me this cool graphic to share! It’s gonna be a big weekend hosting this 72-hour music festival (virtually of course). Some of the performers I’m most excited for are John Mayer, Nelly, Wiz Khalifa, PRETTYMUCH, Emily Vu and Charlotte Sands. One of my favorite thing about hosting for LiveXLive is that I also get to discover so many new artists that I add to my playlist!

Full festival poster below, and the great thing is this is all to benefit people in music who need a little help, through MusicCares!

Why Don't We Interview!

January 14, 2021 Carly Henderson

Ahead of their release of The Good Times and the Bad Ones, LiveXLive asked me to chat with Why Don’t We - one of the biggest boy bands today! They’ve grown so much, and wrote and produced the entire album themselves.

I loved hearing how much gratitude they had for their experiences filming music videos during this wild year and were generally a blast to hang with! Check out their listening party on LiveXLive tomorrow!

Sam Hunt Interview (iHeartCountry Festival 2020)

November 19, 2020 Carly Henderson

I had the absolute pleasure of chatting with Sam Hunt before his performance on the 2020 iHeartCountry Music Festival!

I really enjoyed this conversation— we chatted about new music, how the pandemic changed his songwriting, and how he misses + thinks of his fans as an old friend ❤️

Not only is his music one of a kind, but Sam Hunt is a gem of a human, too.

Uncompahgre National Forest: Silver Jack Reservoir + Cimarron River (Colorado)

June 1, 2020 Carly Henderson

If you find yourself in Southwest Colorado, I HIGHLY recommend a drive through Uncompahgre National Forest. As my boyfriend and I drove through, we were constantly stunned by the majestic nature. I actually asked him, “Did we die and go to heaven? I could hardly imagine a better view.

Ouray, Colorado - AKA the Switzerland of America

April 5, 2020 Carly Henderson

Ouray, Colorado - aka the Switzerland of America— is one of the most special places in Colorado. Yesterday the bf, dog and I drove up and hiked around this beautiful, quaint little mountain town. Almost the entire town is classified as a historic district, and there are no ski resorts here, so it’s been really well-preserved, and kind of feels like it’s in the 1800s! Stunning views of mountain peaks. Can’t wait until the hot springs open again. It’s so close to where I grew up and such a hidden gem! Here are some spots to go.

Vancouver: Top Things to Do

Grouse Mountain Gondola. Riding through the clouds!

Vancouver, I think I love ya. Have you visited anywhere in Canada? This is the fifth place I've traveled to, after Banff National Park, Calgary, Montreal and Toronto, and I honestly can't get enough. I used to think I had to go across the world to feel something fresh (and don't get me wrong- I still love a big international trip), but Canada has so much to offer with a quick flight from the States. I love hearing all the different languages spoken (many Vancouver residents speak a first language other than English), their public transit makes it a breeze to get around, and their stunning nature is some of the best in the world. Here are the top things you need to check out if you go!
